This page contains family information for the descendants of Anders Olson (aka Andrew Olsen,or Andrew Jole). With his parents Ole and Sigri, in 1845 Anders left Jordet farm in the Aurdal region of Norway, leaving behind other family members, and came to America to start a new life in the New World.
For over 150 years, the family lines have been separated. But in 2006, after years of compiling research and data and collecting information and a fortunate lead found on the internet, the separated family members have found each other at last. This website contains information about both sides of the family, and is intended to help distribute this information to Jole family members in the USA.

*This PDF file contains family information (duplicates of Link 3 above) going back to about 1600 AD, that Ola and others compiled from local records in the Aurdal region of Norway. He reports that he can go no further back, since written records seem to not exist earlier than that, due to historical circumstances.
